SEND Swim Teacher and Gymnastics Instructor.

Bobby began working at Bridport Leisure Centre in 2014, gaining swim teaching and gymnastics qualifications. He has a strong passion for working with children with special educational needs (SEN), finding joy in helping them achieve what many thought impossible – swimming, jumping in, or simply trying something new.

Bobby believes the pool offers not only skill-building but also vital social inclusion for both children and their families. He values the supportive community that forms around SEN swimming, where parents connect and children thrive. He said: “The more you work with them, the more they shine – and they always make you smile.”
